Hey everyone, I am off to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) to participate in the chair and co-chair training for my appointment to the ANDPAC co-chair position this year and chairmanship next year.
Remember that this month is National Nutrition Month. Keep up the good work and eat your greens!
I am a big advocate of fiber. It is of primary importance in nutrition and health for so many preventative reasons! Did you know that according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, it is recommended that adults consume 14 grams of fiber in every 1,000 calories they take in? That translates to approximately 25 grams a day for women and 38 grams daily for men. So eat your fiber!
